Microvast at CIBF 2025: Powering What's Next

STAFFORD, Texas, May 13, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Microvast Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVST) (“Microvast” or the “Company”), a global leader in advanced battery technologies, will highlight its comprehensive suite of high-performance battery products at the 17th China International Battery Fair (CIBF 2025) at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center from May 15th to 17th, 2025.

At the exhibition, Microvast will present solutions for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), commercial vehicles, construction machinery, and specialized vehicles. Key highlights will include the fast-charging HpTO, MpCO, and HpCO series, achieving 80% charge in 15-20 minutes under standard power conditions. Microvast’s high-performance batteries demonstrate exceptional temperature stability and up to 8,000 charge-discharge cycles, ideal for demanding applications worldwide.

The Company will unveil new high-energy density and long-endurance batteries: the HnSO 70Ah battery (300 Wh/kg, up to 4,000 cycles) for long-range BEVs and the high-safety HnCO 120Ah battery (265 Wh/kg, up to 5,000 cycles) for high-utilization scenarios.

Microvast will showcase its adaptable fourth-generation MV-B (high-energy) and MV-C (high-power) battery packs at CIBF 2025, highlighting their ability to deliver approximately 20% more energy and power within similar dimensions while meeting stringent thermal runaway safety standards. These field-tested packs, utilizing the MpCO-48Ah and HpCO-53.5Ah cells, offer high compatibility, allowing customers to seamlessly integrate them into existing powertrains and switch between high-energy and high-power cell technologies based on specific operational requirements.

Another spotlight will be the high-performance 565Ah LFP cells, capable of over 10,000 cycles. Attendees can also preview the innovative ME6 BESS design. This 6MWh 20-foot container system, engineered as an industry-first overhaulable solution, underscores the potential of Microvast's advanced cell technology for robust energy storage.
