The presale scheduled for whitelisted members and anticipated by thousands of potential minters was clouded by the hacker attack on the mint dApp. 1ATH.Studio security specialists were lightning-fast and brought the issue under control in less than 15 minutes. Today’s community is very cautious about any instability so the event had predictably shaken a part of whitelisted IggyBoy minters.

Attack on the Discord Server
Popularity is always accompanied by unwanted attention, and the IggyBoy collection appears to be very popular. Their Discord server was hacked, with the hackers removing some users of the whitelist and sharing malicious information. That was also under control, and the team has been on top of things ever then.
Sentiment on the server appears to be unaffected, with many members of the IggyBoy community uniting their powers and participating in the lookout for potential scammers. On both Discord and OpenSea, the vast discord community of over 80,000 members appears to have been essential in combatting and defeating scammers.

OpenSea battle
Besides the dApp attack that caused some inactivity of whitelisted buyers, the presence of scamming collections on OpenSea also partly influenced it. There were about 50 collections created by scammers on OpenSea. These nefarious parties were selling sneak peeks, but the team managed to foil them by launching a massive scam fight campaign reporting fake collections on OpenSea. Members of the IggyBoy community played a central role in this struggle massively flagging fake collections.

Eventually, all the OpenSea scammers were defeated and removed from the marketplace. Over 100 detected scam collections and 20 scam user accounts were banned with the OpenSea team over the last 2 weeks and the team keeps monitoring the situation. 1ATH.Studio team believes this is very important to maintain security to their members and make sure they mint only from official sources.

Back on a fast track
Today, the project is back on track and actively builds the community around IggyBoys initiating different contests and events stimulating the interest and engagement. The minting option is temporarily closed to encourage the OpenSea trading however it is now possible to mine IggyBoys by completing easy tasks. The team also works on maintaining the floor price, opening a new initiative encouraging the community members to hold their assets making sure the floor price is stable.

Details on the reveal of the final collection
According to information on the IggyBoy discord server, the collection will be revealed on March 10 at 3PM CET / 9AM EST.
In addition, the team has made additional commitments. One of these promises is that they will include “Alpha Status” in the community.  This is expected to be the first step towards building a powerful decentralized community. To be Alphas, members must mint or hold 10+ IggyBoys, and if this criterion is met, they will be screened for their experience and maturity and entitled to certain advantages. The perks include lifetime whitelisting on all 1ATH.Studio projects, as well as a say in the project’s future direction. Only experienced and respected community members join this privileged board.

Future plans of the project
Moving on from the issues that arose during the presale, IggyBoy’s developers have stated that they are very positive about the future of the project and plan to work on their roadmap with doubled efforts.
