With a multipurpose design, it saves you from carrying several different containers or eating cold food. It’s the only ergonomically designed food container that holds up to 1300 ml of food while magically being smaller than the size of a 1L Evian bottle.

It has a stackable design to sort food. 

Its food-grade silicone top container is great for fruits, noodles, and more—and it can be used in ovens, microwaves, freezers, and fridges. Plus, the stackable silicone bowl makes meal prep and serving sizes easy thanks to its integrated measurement lines. 

It’s large enough to fit a full meal, and it has a wide-mouth opening that makes it easy to eat out of. Plus, this bowl-size opening lets you prepare salads without crushing the leaves—it can even hold an entire chicken breast.

It can even cook food. 

Designed to make healthy living easy, the OMI lets you simply throw in your dry oats, add hot water or milk, and close the lid. Your oats will be cooked and ready to eat when you get to where you’re going.

It has a 5-layer composition. 

The Pod’s 5-layer composition provides stability and retains extreme heat over time. It has a medical-grade 316 stainless steel inner layer and a 304 stainless steel center layer. These two layers boost insulation and retain boiling or freezing temperatures.

It’s customizable. 

The signature Pod is available in white with various colors for the strap and silicone bowls. OMI plans to produce other Pod colors, starting with black, and also has a cutlery set in the works.

OMI designed various straps in different materials for accessorization according to your mood. Its versatility speaks to modern consumers, letting them look stylish while incorporating healthy eating habits. Make meal planning easy—no matter how hectic your schedule is. 

OMI created the Pod through a collaborative partnership between a multidisciplinary team in Singapore and a French industrial designer in Montreal. Its design prioritizes functionality and ease of use, drawing from Japanese technology for heat retention. The engineering team and manufacturing partner in Shanghai further refined the idea by creating an airtight lid to ensure food freshness and prevent any leakage.

OMI will launch on Kickstarter on September 13, 2022 starting at an Super Early Bird price of $68USD, which is 44% off the MSRP of $121. Shipping will begin in August 2022.
