Concordia University Student Wins Insightful’s $2,500 Scholarship

Azfar Adib, an Electrical & Computer Engineering PhD student from Concordia University, has been awarded the scholarship.

SAN FRANCISCO [2.2 2023] - Insightful, a leading productivity software for remote employee management that is used by 2,200 companies, is pleased to announce the winner of its latest student scholarship, Azfar Adib.

With a GPA of 3.78, Azfar was selected based on an excellent application essay and strong academic performance. The Insightful scholarship awards $2,500 to two university students per year, and recipients are chosen based on merit, academic performance, financial need, community involvement, and extracurricular contributions.

Mr Adib is an Electrical & Computer Engineering PhD student from Concordia University with a GPA of 3.78.

This is the third scholarship Insightful has awarded, and the program is open to students who are currently enrolled in technical, IT, or non-technical (e.g. marketing or business) programs with a minimum GPA of 3.5.

On receiving the scholarship, Mr Adib said: “I really liked the motto of this scholarship- helping ambitious students with an entrepreneurial mindset. Its focus on technological aspects suits me quite well. With the funds, I plan to do a couple of things. Firstly, I wish to purchase some smart wearables to use for my ongoing research. Then, I shall use the rest of the funds to develop and run some awareness programs for general people about digital identity. It is mentionable that currently, I am running both these endeavors up to some extent. Receiving this scholarship may help me to boost those further.”
