Suamico, WI Author Publishes Poetry Collection

By: PR Leap
(PRLeap.com) "For Better Waters", a new book by Mitchel Brock, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Poet Mitchel Brock unveils his debut publication, "For Better Waters", a compelling collection that brings together two original works of short-form poetry crafted in a format uniquely his own. Born from the creative limitations of a single small notebook, Brock's innovative poetic structure demonstrates how constraint can give rise to artistry.

The collection comprises two distinct yet thematically connected works:

"Heart's Moors" is a meditation on love as an act of quiet defiance. Written in response to the pervasive presence of hate in the world, these poems reflect how love - persistent and illuminating - has emerged time and again in Brock's life as a powerful counterforce.

"For Better Waters" charts the emotional and spiritual journey of a soul - from its birth, through the awakening of self-love, to its eventual offering of love outward into the world. It's a poetic voyage that celebrates transformation, vulnerability, and the enduring strength of the human heart.

"For Better Waters" is a poignant read for those who believe in the redemptive power of love and its ability to transcend life's most formidable challenges.

About the Author
Mitchel Brock's passion for the English language took root in childhood, nurtured by nightly read-alouds with his family. Though his first foray into writing, a blog, never gained traction, it led him to discover a love for poetry and the intricate play of words and meaning. For Better Waters is his first published collection. Brock resides in Suamico, Wisconsin, where he enjoys life with his family and their two dogs.

"For Better Waters" is a 142-page paperback with a retail price of $16.00 (eBook $11.00). The ISBN is 979-8-89341-320-5. Published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
