Florida Toddler Captivates Nation, Advances to Semi-Finals of "Toddler of the Year"

(PRLeap.com) Tampa Bay, Florida - September 13, 2025 - Two-year-old Ruth Whitmire has advanced to the semi-final round of Colossal's national Toddler of the Year competition, a fundraising contest that celebrates toddlers while supporting Toys for Tots.

Ruth is known for her boundless curiosity and her unique way of seeing the world, which makes everyday moments full of wonder and joy. Her family is asking the community to vote daily and share Ruth's profile to help her advance to the finals.

Voting for semi-finalists closes on Thursday, September 18 at 7:00 PM PDT, and the overall competition runs through September 28, 2025. Supporters may cast one free vote per day, and additional donation votes may be purchased to benefit Toys for Tots.

The top prize for Toddler of the Year includes a $25,000 grand prize, a professional photo shoot and magazine feature, the opportunity to lead the Hollywood Christmas Parade, and a family trip to Peppa Pig Theme Park in Winter Haven, FL.
