Murphy Law Firm Investigates Legal Claims on Behalf of the 605,809 Individuals whose Personal Information was Exposed in the Data Breach

OKLAHOMA CITY - Dec. 6, 2023 - PRLog -- Murphy Law Firm is investigating claims on behalf of all individuals whose personal and confidential information was potentially compromised in the data breach involving East River Medical Imaging, P.C. ("ERMI"). On September 20, 2023, ERMI detected unusual activity on its computer network, indicating a data breach. Based on a forensic investigation, ERMI confirmed that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured computer systems between August 31, 2023 and September 20, 2023. ERMI further determined that through this infiltration, cybercriminals accessed and/or copied the sensitive personal information of 605,809 individuals, including:

Financial account information
Medical information
Insurance information
Driver's license numbers
Contact information

As a result of the data breach, these individuals' personal and highly sensitive information may be in the hands of cybercriminals who can place the information for sale on the dark web or use the information to perpetrate identity theft.
