Pietro Cimino Embarks on “World Tour” In Search of the Best Ingredients for Pietro’s Favorite Brand Products

From Illinois to Italy, Pietro "Peter" Cimino travels the globe to source the highest quality ingredients.

(PRUnderground) April 24th, 2025

To ensure the best quality product, Pietro “Peter” Cimino, owner of Cimino’s Product of Italy (makers of Pietro’s Favorite Italian Lemon Ice, Lemonades and Flavor Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oils) has completed a tour of Europe, and Latin and North America. The purpose of the Pietro’s Favorite World Tour was to source the best ingredients for his product from the regions where they flourish, to visit the establishments that carry his products overseas, and perhaps most importantly, to revisit his family’s rich history of small business ownership in Europe.

Pietro’s Favorite Italian Lemon Ice did not actually start with Pietro. The product was first sold in Europe. The history of the lemon ice actually started in Elsberry, England. Pietro’s maternal uncles, Giovanni and Luigi were the ones who started selling lemon ice as a way to support their family in the early 1900’s.

As Italian immigrants, Pietro’s uncles found a way to survive in a not-so-forgiving era. Pietro draws strength from the resolve of his ancestors and paid tribute by carrying on the legacy in modern times with his Pietro’s Favorite brand products.

Some of the locations that Pietro visited include London and Elsberry England, Sicily, Costa Rica, Amalfi Coast, and Gatineau, Montreal, and Quebec Canada. Cimino visited Agrigento, Sicily where his Lemon Ice products are being sold at Salvo’s Snack Bar at the Valley of the Temples, a protected archaeological site that is home to the most solemn and best-preserved Greek temples in Sicily.

Pietro’s Favorite products are available upon request. For more information or to order: visit www.pietrosfavorite.com or call (702) 204-9610
