HITLAB’s Women’s Health Tech Initiative (WHTI) is proud to announce an upcoming webinar “Ignite: Start-up, Strategy Sprint, a dynamic 3-hour virtual program designed to accelerate the growth of early-stage startups in the women’s health sector.

The live event will take place on Wednesday, September 10, offering founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators a hands-on, high-impact experience in marketing, fundraising, and pitching strategies.

Early-bird registration is now open through August 15th, with discounted pricing of $150. After August 15th the prices will go up to $199. Women’s Health Tech Initiative Ambassadors will receive complimentary access.

A Strategic Sprint for Women’s Health Innovators, “Ignite” is more than a webinar—it’s an actionable experience. With a real-time curriculum focused on real-world applications, participants will benefit from:

• Expert-led educational modules on unique value propositions, pitch deck development, and fundraising strategy.

• Live feedback and practice pitch sessions, with two startups selected to present during the event for immediate guidance from investors and seasoned mentors.

• Small-group networking and breakout discussions to foster community and peer learning.

• A startup pitch practice draw, offering registrants a chance to secure the live pitch practice spots.

Led by industry leaders and HITLAB WHTI ambassadors, the program is tailored to provide practical tools and insider insights for female founders and health tech professionals building ventures in this rapidly growing but underserved space.

Program Highlights 

The immersive three-hour session includes:

• Session 1:  Unique Value Proposition & Go-to-Market Strategy featuring: ElShadey Berkel, Community Health Pediatrician, Children’s National Hospital 

• Session 2: Pitch Deck Essentials and peer refinement featuring Lauren Dickerman, Women’s Health Clinical Advisor (Philips, Pharmista Technologies) and Amy West, Principal, Advisory Services, HITLAB 

• Session 3: Fundraising Readiness. Speaker TBD 

Participants will also receive optional follow-up resources and access to a curated digital community for continued learning and networking post-event.

Incentives for Startups 

Startups that register can enter into a pre-event draw for a pitch practice slot.  Two startup registrants will be selected to present their pitch decks to the live peer and mentor audience and receive real-time feedback from an expert panel.
