This transformative guide delves into the complexities of legal risk management, offering organizations practical insights to turn potential conflicts into opportunities for growth while championing ethical, community-centered practices.

Rebecca Sposita, a distinguished alumna of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, has dedicated her career to advocating for justice and driving impactful change. Since joining The Sam Bernstein Law Firm in 2009, she has built a reputation as a powerhouse in legal practice, championing high-profile cases, including several survivors of Larry Nassar’s assaults, victims of medical malpractice, and individuals with disabilities

“As an attorney, I am privileged to serve individuals facing some of life’s most challenging moments,” Sposita shared. “With Win Win, I hope to inspire organizations to embrace legal practices that not only protect their interests but also uplift communities and support ethical values.”

In addition to her legal achievements, Sposita was recently named an honoree of Women Who Lead, a recognition of female leaders across the Great Lakes region who are making positive impacts in their communities.

“I am proud to be an honoree of Women Who Lead,” Sposita remarked. “This recognition celebrates female leaders who are leaning in and pushing the world to new heights, and I am honored to be among these inspiring women.”

Each year, Women Who Lead honors 12 outstanding women who influence their communities through leadership and service. Read more about Women Who Lead honorees.

In Win Win, Sposita explores how organizations can shift from conventional, reactive approaches to conflicts toward compassionate, trauma-informed responses. This approach not only reduces litigation costs but also fosters an inclusive, supportive environment, so people feel valued and empowered. Sposita’s guidance, grounded in years of experience with complex legal cases, offers a roadmap for leaders aiming to protect their organization’s interests while creating a healthier culture.

Beyond her work in the law firm, Sposita serves on the executive boards of the Michigan Association for Justice and Divine Mercy Academy, a school dedicated to children with special needs. Her commitment to community service and advocacy for vulnerable populations underscores her belief that the legal profession can be a force for good.

Rebecca resides with her husband, Mike, and their two sons, Jake and Justin, in Michigan.

When not advancing her work in the legal field, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and boating with family and friends.

Win Win: Helping Organizations Mitigate Legal Risk for the Common Good will be available in bookstores and online retailers starting January 5, 2025. For more information or to arrange an interview with Rebecca Sposita, call 248-538-5922.
