Voices’ latest guide explains that people can now browse projects on this directory by voice actors, audio producers, musicians, or translators. Project Marketplace has been designed to accelerate the hiring process, allowing clients to choose a project, pay, and get the work finished professionally.
The company’s new method of hiring favors both project seekers and clients as it provides a place where voice actors can post their projects once and be visited over and over by many clients.
Using Project Marketplace starts on the Voices website, with a visible search bar at the top of the screen with the default category ‘Talent’ showing, the guide notes. Clients simply need to replace ‘Talent’ with ‘Projects’ from the drop down menu, type in some keywords, and hit enter.
An alternative way is for the client to hover their cursor over the ‘Find Talent’ choice on the navigation bar, choose ‘Project Marketplace,’ and click ‘Browse Projects’ to browse by price, delivery time, or rating. Filters for Voice Over, Audio Production, Music, and Translation narrow the projects that appear even more. Clients can also filter by price and delivery time.
The offerings on Project Marketplace are pre-made packages but can be customized for recording quality, length, number of revisions, and other criteria. When add-ons are chosen, the new price is immediately displayed.
Once payment details are entered, scripts and specific instructions to the talent can be attached to the order.
Project Marketplace will not replace Talent Marketplace, the current way of hiring talent at Voices. Each method is a complement to the other so that clients can employ talent whichever way serves them better. Talent Marketplace will continue for those who want a brief proposal, a quote, and short sample recordings from several voice actors before making a choice.
