Patricia Blake Debuts New Book "True Trust" at Wounded Blue Summit in Las Vegas, Honors First Responders with Her Anthem

Author and advocate Patricia Blake debuts her children's book True Trust at the National Law Enforcement Survival Summit in Las Vegas, presented by Randy Sutton's The Wounded Blue, while spotlighting her first responders' anthem "Send Me!".

LAS VEGAS, NV, September 24, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Author, LAPD officer, and first responder advocate Patricia Blake is front and center this week at the 5th Annual National Law Enforcement Survival Summit (September 22–25, 2025, Palace Station Casino & Hotel). Blake is engaging directly with attendees as she signs copies of her brand-new children's book, True Trust—the first title in the Mocha: Angel Warrior series—while also bringing renewed attention to her acclaimed song from the SEND ME! project.

Blake's first responders' anthem, Send Me!, from her web series of the same name, was first unveiled on National First Responders Day (October 28, 2024) and continues to strike a powerful chord with audiences. With its emotional message and musical strength, the anthem is once again in the spotlight at the Summit—underscoring the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of law enforcement professionals nationwide.

"Send Me! was written straight from the heart," shares Blake. "It's a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of first responders everywhere. Every time it's played, my hope is that those who serve feel honored, uplifted, and reminded that their courage does not go unseen."

Patricia Blake is no stranger to success or creativity. In addition to her newest role as a musician, she leads two acclaimed web series—SEND ME! and To Protect and To Serve—and is the author of multiple books. Her debut memoir, Touched by the Hand of God: In the City of Angels – SEND ME!, reflected on her thirty-three years with the Los Angeles Police Department and paid tribute to the resilience of first responders.

Today, Blake is focused on her newest literary venture: the Mocha: Angel Warrior children's series, beginning with True Trust. Inspired by her real-life mounted patrol horse, Mocha, who served faithfully during her LAPD career and has since passed on, the series transforms his legacy into a timeless children's book hero. Through Mocha, Blake has created an enduring symbol of trust, courage, and loyalty—bridging her law enforcement experiences with her creative storytelling in a way that resonates with readers of all ages.

Blake adds: "Mocha was more than a horse to me—he was my partner, my protector, and my friend. Writing 'True Trust' was my way of honoring his legacy. I hope children and families can feel the same courage, trust, and loyalty he gave me every single day we served together."

Her participation in this year's Summit is especially timely. Against the backdrop of ongoing sociopolitical turmoil, rising crime, and frequent large-scale disasters, first responders are stretched thin—working overtime not just in hours but in spirit. Blake's storytelling, whether through her writing, hosting, or the SEND ME! anthem itself, arrives as both a rallying call and a source of strength for those on the front lines.

"This Summit is about survival, resilience, and hope," Blake says while greeting officers and their families. "My purpose is to honor those who give so much of themselves and to remind them they are seen, valued, and never alone."

That sense of purpose is echoed by her longtime associate and frequent collaborator S.W. Miliano, Managing Director and Co-Founder of The Stone Register and member of the Forbes Business Council. "Working alongside Patricia has been a powerful reminder of why storytelling matters," Miliano noted. "Her work isn't just creative—it's a lifeline. The message of SEND ME! and the voice behind True Trust reflect the courage of first responders everywhere, and we're proud to help amplify that impact at a national level. We also deeply appreciate Randy [Sutton] and The Wounded Blue for creating a platform where these voices can be heard, honored, and uplifted."

The Summit, hosted by Randy Sutton's The Wounded Blue, features a lineup of speakers, training, and wellness sessions designed to change the culture around mental health in law enforcement. Blake's participation highlights the vital role of creative storytelling and music in supporting the wellness and community of first responders at a time when their service is more critical than ever.

"First responders give their all when we're at our most vulnerable," Blake explains. "If True Trust and 'Send Me!' bring them even a measure of encouragement, then I've done my job. Their sacrifices are seen, their struggles matter, and their stories must be told."

Patricia Blake's presence at the Summit affirms her ongoing commitment to honoring first responders through every medium—books, music, and storytelling that inspire resilience and hope.
