Moveworks Named to the Forbes AI 50 List for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Powered by proprietary NLU models and GPT-class LLMs, Moveworks offers a conversational AI platform that streamlines enterprise workflows and automates tasks across systems

Moveworks, the leading conversational AI platform for the enterprise, has been named to the Forbes AI 50 List for the fifth consecutive year. The AI 50 is produced in partnership with Sequoia and Meritech Capital, and showcases startups developing the most promising business applications of artificial intelligence. Each featured company possesses a captivating vision, backed with the technical expertise and resources necessary to bring it to fruition.

Moveworks is a generative AI platform that boosts employee productivity by surfacing information and automating tasks through natural language. Moveworks gives enterprises a conversational AI interface that can connect with every system and application — from Microsoft to Workday to Salesforce. Powered by a combination of proprietary NLU models and GPT-class large language models (LLMs), the Moveworks platform learns the unique language of each organization to solve thousands of use cases.

“The past year has been a watershed moment for AI innovation, particularly with the surge in LLM-driven advancements,” said Bhavin Shah, CEO of Moveworks. “At Moveworks, we recognized the transformative potential of LLMs early on and have been leveraging their power for several years. This foresight has allowed us to stay at the forefront of the industry and deliver cutting-edge conversational AI to businesses worldwide. We're excited to leverage the ongoing AI momentum for sustained growth and an even larger impact on the enterprise world.”

Previously, the AI 50 was limited to North American companies. This year, with AI shaping boardroom conversations around the world, eligibility was extended to include private companies globally. As a result, Forbes saw a record-breaking 796 submissions for 2023, nearly doubling the count from last year.

Each candidate underwent evaluation by data partner Sequoia Capital, utilizing an algorithm developed by partner Konstantine Buhler. The scoring system considers companies based on three general aspects: financial performance, company culture, and diversity. The algorithm incorporates information from the submissions — such as revenue growth, client data, funding history, and valuation — along with publicly accessible data like Glassdoor reviews and LinkedIn insights, to produce a comprehensive ranking of all participating companies.
