Authorities are investigating a sign that a hate group hung up at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham on Saturday. Signs from Patriot Front were also posted in various areas around downtown Durham.

ASIDE FROM A WHITE NATIONALIST HATE GROUP WAS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE AMERICAN TOBACCO CAMPUS IN DURHAM PHOTO SHOWED THIS SIGN HERE WHICH READ STRONG FAMILIES, STRONG NATIONS WITH A LINK TO A PATRIOT FRONT WEBSITE. PATRIOT FRONT IS CLASSIFIED BY SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS AS A WHITE NATIONALIST HATE GROUP, AMERICAN TOBACCO, WHICH IS OWNED BY WRAL'S PARENT COMPANY CAPITAL BROADCASTING, CAPTURED THESE PHOTOS SHOWING THE PEOPLE THEY BELIEVE HUNG THE SIGN ON THE BUILDING IN A STATEMENT, THE CAMPUS GENERAL MANAGER SAID OUR TEAM WAS ALERTED TO A DISTURBING BANNER WITH MESSAGING LINKED TO AN EXTREMIST HATE GROUP DISPLAYED ON THE SOUT DEC. IT HAS BEEN REMOVED.
