In the spirit of mental health awareness month, HelloDr recently invited the award-winning psychologist Dr. Gagandeep Kaur to conduct a LIVE SESSION on HelloDr website. Speaking on Anxiety vs Calmness, Dr. Kaur started the session by talking about anxiety and factors that caused it. Talking about how anxiety often pushed people to realize their maximum potential and achieve a goal, Dr. Kaur said that anxiety became a problem when it prevented people from getting peaceful sleep.
Discussing the LAW OF ATTRACTION, Dr. Kaur talked about making anxieties calmer. She mentioned that one could shift to calmer self by controlling his/her thoughts. She said that thoughts that a person would think would certainly manifest in life. Many times, a negative thought persists more when a person tries to resist it. Therefore, one can consult psychologists to learn the art of controlling thoughts and focus on positive thoughts that would make them calmer.
Often setbacks in life can cause anxiety of high level that might lead to depression. However, monitoring thoughts and focusing on positivity can be a choice as powerful as the choice of staying depressed. A person facing a problem with a happy mind is more likely to figure out a solution than a person who is facing the same problem with a depressed mind.
