A half dozen areas of Austin, including Lost Creek, could vote to leave the city

The votes will take place this May, under a new state law that allows areas with fewer than 500,000 people to opt to leave if they were annexed into cities between March 3, 2015, and December 1, 2017. At the end of this report, check out a list of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in the metro.
