InspIR Group Deepens Bench in Rapidly Expanding Strategic Areas: ESG and Venture Stage Company Counsel

Zelmira Silva Appointed as Partner at InspIR New York

InspIR Group (“InspIR”), the leading cross-border strategic investor relations and communications strategy firm, today announced the appointment of top industry talent through the internal promotion of Zelmira Silva to Partner. InspIR continues to expand in areas of high growth that are seeing significant client demand, including ESG strategic content development, materiality, benchmarking, GRI and SASB reporting as well as early stage private to pre-public company strategic counsel.

“InspIR’s most recent senior-level appointment reflects the depth and breadth of our expertise in specialty services that are critically important to companies looking to elevate to global best practice standards," said Monique Skruzny, InspIR’s CEO and Founder. She continued, “InspIR is widely known for our work in Strategic Counsel with later stage and public companies, including ESG communications. But today our Early-Stage Strategic Counsel practice is also enabling start-up founders to effectively articulate their investment stories and develop targeted financing strategies. Our team is guiding the build of the business plan and pitch deck, providing presentation coaching and strategies to raise visibility through the media as our clients look to raise late seed, A and B rounds. We’re also advising on financing strategy and VC networking and, in many cases, providing introductions to potential partners and customers by leveraging our team’s experience of over 20 years in advisory work across industries.”

Zelmira Silva has been a Senior Consultant to InspIR since 2019 and has been active in expanding InspIR’s ESG Communications Practice with a focus on ESG Strategy Presentations, Materiality assessments, ESG benchmarking and developing Sustainability Reports based on GRI and SASB standards. Zelmira is an economist and former consultant with experience in market and investment research, strategic content development, investor pitching and company valuation, as well as private and public share offerings.

Zelmira previously worked as an independent consultant since 2003 providing strategic, market and investment pitch advisory to top global firms and organizations in financial services, media, telecoms, OEM, textiles, oil and gas, among other industries. She has conducted industry competitiveness analysis for the World Bank and equity analysis for investment firms. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Zelmira was Managing Director at CoInvest, an Argentine investment fund specializing in distressed debt and restructuring situations. She joined CoInvest subsequent to her role as Chief of Advisors to the Argentine Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Mining and Head of the Argentine Government’s Investment Promotion Agency. Prior to these roles, Zelmira was Head of Research & Information at McKinsey & Co. for the Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile offices and a consultant with the Argentine firm Alpha, where she advised major investment banks and equity funds on corporate valuations.
