April 8th & 9th 3rd Annual Red Carpet Black History Month Film Festival
Queens Underground International Film Festival presents its 3rd Annual International Black History Month Film Festival featuring screenings, live performances, panels, guest speakers, and creative vendors and artists. The festival will take place on April 8th and 9th, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at King Manor Museum. Tickets are available for the festivities by visiting the website:

Submissions to the Festival include Movies, Music, Dance, Poetry Videos, Web Series / Talk Show Episodes, and Documentaries from all Genres, for all Categories.
Queens Underground features the New York City Premiere of "Little Satchmo", a Documentary by the only child of the late great Jazz Musician, Louis Armstrong, A 3D project by nZinga Austin, the award-winning media entrepreneur overcoming challenges on the autism spectrum, Sci-Fi Movies, horror flicks and "To Feel Loved" and it's cast from Texas are returning in person to add the PartII screening following the Part I. There are historical re-enactments, films covering mental illness, reentry into society after incarceration, and black farmers. With the best drama, comedy, music, poetry videos, and series episodes, this season is nothing less than profound.
More than 8 filmmakers return this Season which offers one Grant for a Filmmaker, trophies, certificates for other projects, and the best actress and actor. Certificates will also be presented by local Organizations and Senator Leroy Comrie, 14th District, Queens, NY.
Attendees can look forward to a full Red Carpet experience hosted by 6 Talk Show Hosts and Industry Professionals, Two Screening Rooms, live Performances by Nate Moran, a professional mime, Army Veteran, and author, and Magician and Talk Show Host, Andrew Washington. The Festival goes Virtual from April 13th through April 30th.
Sponsors include Duke Realty, First Central Savings Bank, The Morning Dose Talk Show, It Is What It Is with Cindy Sevell, New Jersey DJ, Lewis Gorden, The Truth With Andrew Washington and Frank Correira, the Jamaica Business Industrial District, The Greater Jamaica Merchants Association, Unique Signatures, and the Artist Market NYC.
The Organization is also celebrating its 12th film festival in three years, having survived the challenges of the pandemic by producing 2-3 day film festivals in alternate spaces including the directors' backyard, and honoring minority Creatives in the month of April.
