Today ManageByStats announced another new list format for their customer report generation tool. The new format accommodates Facebook’s Offline Events format. Offline Events in Facebook allow retailers to match real-world traffic with online events. Prior to Offline Events retailers could not accurately track the results of offline traffic, if at all. The only reliable metrics were for online events that could be tracked with Facebook’s conversion pixel. The ability to track offline events is a major development both for local businesses and those that primarily sell in-store.
“This is a relatively new offering from Facebook,” says Philip Jepsen, CEO of ManageByStats. “Facebook keep closing the gap on lost data, and this is just the latest. With Offline Events Facebook can actually make a connection between events in the real world and activity online. For it to work, though, you need customer info.”
Facebook’s Offline Events works by syncing hard data with Facebook ads. This is done by uploading a file that has specific customer information like name, real email, purchase, and date of purchase. Facebook then compares that data with the users who saw specific ad campaigns, which yields accurate conversion analysis. ManageByStats is a suite of tools for Amazon sellers, and includes thorough customer records and reporting. That customer data can now be used to make lists that are compatible with Facebook’s Offline Events.
“ManageByStats maintains complete, accurate info on your customers, including real emails if you’ve used our email gathering service,” says Mister Jepsen. “With this info we can make lists of data you can use to import into these Facebook events. We’ve now made that much, much easier with a report type that formats the list for you, so all you have to do is click generate, and then upload.”
ManageByStats provides solutions for Amazon merchants. The new Facebook Offline Events option is in the Customers and Generate Report section of ManageByStats.
