WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 31, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NexLife, a LegitScript-certified, physician-led telehealth platform, today announced that its compounded GLP-1 program now spans four protocols under a single flat-rate model: standard injectable compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, a microdose protocol for patients who want a more gradual start, and a sublingual protocol for those who prefer to avoid injections. Injectable semaglutide plans run $119 to $139 per month and tirzepatide $139 to $169, depending on plan length. The price does not change when a provider raises the dose, there is no membership fee, and expedited shipping is free.

One price, every dose

GLP-1 therapy is titrated upward over several months, and on many telehealth platforms the monthly bill climbs with it, so the figure in the advertisement has little to do with what a patient pays once they reach a maintenance dose. NexLife charges the same amount at every strength a provider prescribes. A member on the semaglutide monthly plan pays $139 at the lowest titration step and $139 at the highest; on the tirzepatide monthly plan, $169.

Longer commitments lower the rate. Semaglutide is $132 per month on a three-month plan, $125 on six months and $119 on twelve; tirzepatide is $159, $149 and $139 on the same terms. Plans are subscriptions that can be canceled at any time, and a provider can adjust dosing or the treatment plan as a member's progress warrants.

What every plan includes

Each plan carries three services NexLife values at $377 combined and bills for none of them: a personalized, GLP-1-focused nutrition plan ($99), a one-on-one call with a certified wellness coach ($79) and provider review with ongoing medical guidance ($199). Care continues through Care360, NexLife's clinical support model, which covers provider-directed dose adjustments, behavioral support, metabolic tracking and around-the-clock support access. Members can also connect Apple Health, Apple Watch, Google Health Connect or Google Fit so the care team can see weight trends, activity, heart rate and nutrition between check-ins. Device data informs care; it does not replace a provider's evaluation.

In self-reported data from 518 NexLife members, average weight loss over the first six months was 29 pounds when treatment was combined with diet and exercise. Self-reported figures are not clinical trial results, and individual outcomes vary.

Pharmacy standards and batch testing

According to the company, every batch is tested by an independent third-party laboratory for potency, sterility, pH and endotoxin levels before it ships. Pharmacy partners hold credentials that may include LegitScript certification, PCAB accreditation, state board licensure. Depending on state and provider direction, fulfillment may run through partners such as Absolute Pharmacy, Hallandale Pharmacy, Red Rock Pharmacy, Empower Pharmacy or Strive Pharmacy, all verifiable through state pharmacy boards. NexLife itself holds LegitScript certification, an independent credential that involves ongoing compliance review.

Microdose and sublingual protocols

The microdose protocol begins below standard starting doses and increases more gradually, for patients and providers who prefer a more conservative entry point. It is priced at $110 to $129 per month for semaglutide and $129 to $159 for tirzepatide. The sublingual protocol delivers compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide as an orally disintegrating tablet placed under the tongue, with no injection, at $165 to $199 per month for semaglutide and $199 to $229 for tirzepatide. Neither protocol is FDA-approved, and whether either is appropriate for a given patient is a decision for the prescribing provider.

“The dose a patient starts on is almost never the dose they stay on,” said Dr. Adam Kennah, Medical Director at NexLife. “When the price rises with each step, people start weighing the bill against the next dose, and that is not a conversation a prescriber should be having with a patient. We set one price so the number someone sees before they start is the number they see at maintenance, and we built the nutrition and coaching in because the medication by itself isn’t the treatment.”

On pharmacy standards, Kennah added: “Licensed is the floor. We want independent lab results on every batch, for potency, sterility, pH and endotoxins, before anything reaches a member. That is the part of compounded medicine patients can’t check for themselves, so it’s the part we’re strictest about.”

How it works

Eligibility starts with a short online health questionnaire. Most adults with a BMI of 27 or higher may qualify; a U.S.-licensed provider reviews each applicant’s medical history and goals and decides whether treatment is clinically appropriate. Completing the questionnaire does not by itself establish a doctor-patient relationship, and approval is not guaranteed. Once a prescription is approved, the care team coordinates fulfillment through a partner pharmacy, and orders ship with free expedited delivery, typically arriving within one to two business days based on internal fulfillment data. No in-person visit is required at any stage, and shipments are discreetly packaged.

Important Safety Information

Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety, effectiveness or quality. Compounded semaglutide is not Ozempic® or Wegovy®, and compounded tirzepatide is not Mounjaro® or Zepbound®. NexLife is not affiliated with Novo Nordisk or Eli Lilly. All prescribing decisions are made by licensed providers exercising independent medical judgment, who may prescribe, adjust, pause or decline treatment. Formulations, pharmacy partners, pricing and availability vary by state and may change.
