Cushman & Wakefield Named a 2022 Military Friendly® Gold Employer

Real estate services firm recognized for fourth consecutive year, earning Gold distinction for the second time

Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK), a leading global real estate services firm, announced today that it has earned the 2022 Military Friendlyยฎ Employer designation. The firm has been recognized for four years in a row, earning the Gold distinction now for the second time.

โ€œWeโ€™re pleased to earn this recognition for the fourth consecutive year, and to announce on Veterans Day as we honor the diverse group of people who serve or have served in the U.S. armed forces,โ€ said Nadine Augusta, Cushman & Wakefieldโ€™s Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer. โ€œVeterans in our firm and our C&W Services business bring valuable experiences and skills that support our values of being driven, inclusive and succeeding together.โ€

Institutions earning the Military Friendlyยฎ Employer designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over a thousand companies participated in the 2022 Military Friendlyยฎ survey. Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendlyยฎ Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organizationโ€™s survey score with an assessment of the organizationโ€™s ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover, and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.

โ€œThis recognition is proof that Cushman & Wakefield is a leader among our peers and businesses across industries in offering programs designed to recruit, retain and develop veterans and service members. This is imperative to our business and operations, and we look forward to continuing to improve our program,โ€ said Doug Jones, Market Principal in Dallas and Executive Director of Cushman & Wakefieldโ€™s Military & Veterans Program. Jones formerly served as an Army infantry officer.

Cushman & Wakefield will be showcased along with other 2022 Military Friendlyยฎ Employers in the December issue of G.I. Jobsยฎ magazine and on MilitaryFriendly.com.

In 2020, Cushman & Wakefield became an authorized provider of Department of Defense Skillbridge internships, which allow for service members to gain valuable work experience and training as they transition from military to civilian careers. Cushman & Wakefield also has a strategic alliance with DHC Real Estate Services, a service-disabled-veteran-owned commercial real estate firm, which enables public and private sector enterprises to include real estate services in their commitments to supplier diversity. โ€œIโ€™m proud that weโ€™re continuing to build a company culture that offers veterans a sense of belonging through community and rewarding work outside of the military, as reflected by this award and our initiatives and partnerships,โ€ said Matt Disher, Cushman & Wakefieldโ€™s Military & Veterans Program Leader and Chairman of the firmโ€™s Veterans ERG, who also previously served as a U.S. Marine.
