BitMine Immersion Technologies (NYSE American: BMNR) has closed a $250 million private placement, funded in cash and crypto, to support its Ethereum-focused treasury strategy. Led by MOZAYYX, with participation from Founders Fund, Pantera, Kraken, Galaxy Digital and others, the funding will be used to acquire ETH as BitMine’s primary treasury reserve asset. The move positions the company to engage in protocol-level activities such as staking and decentralized finance. Chairman Tom Lee and CEO Jonathan Bates said the strategy aims to increase ETH held per share and generate shareholder returns through reflexive value gains and expanded ETH exposure.
