It was a strong quarter for the company, with a solid beat of analystsโ EBITDA estimates and an impressive beat of analystsโ adjusted operating income estimates. It reported 14,292 events, down 2.6% year on year.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Live Nationโs revenue to grow 12.2% year on year to $8.59 billion, a reversal from the 6.2% decrease it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $1.49 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. Live Nation has missed Wall Streetโs revenue estimates three times over the last two years.
Looking at Live Nationโs peers in the consumer discretionary segment, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. Nike delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 1.1%, beating analystsโ expectations by 6.5%, and The Real Brokerage reported revenues up 52.6%, topping estimates by 6.5%.
