Victoria's Secret reported revenues of $1.46 billion, up 3% year on year. This print exceeded analystsโ€™ expectations by 4%. Overall, it was a very strong quarter for the company with a beat of analystsโ€™ EPS and EBITDA estimates.

American Eagle reported revenues of $1.28 billion, flat year on year, outperforming analystsโ€™ expectations by 4%. The business had an incredible quarter with a beat of analystsโ€™ EPS and gross margin estimates.

Weakest Q2: Torrid (NYSE: CURV)

Promoting a message of body positivity and inclusiveness, Torrid Holdings (NYSE: CURV) is a plus-size womenโ€™s apparel and accessories retailer.

Torrid reported revenues of $262.8 million, down 7.7% year on year, exceeding analystsโ€™ expectations by 0.9%. Still, it was a softer quarter as it posted full-year EBITDA guidance missing analystsโ€™ expectations and a significant miss of analystsโ€™ EBITDA estimates.

Torrid delivered the slowest revenue growth in the group. As expected, the stock is down 24.3% since the results and currently trades at $1.81.

Founded as an outdoor and sporting brand, Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) evolved to become a specialty retailer that sells its own brand of fashionable clothing to young adults.

Abercrombie and Fitch reported revenues of $1.21 billion, up 6.6% year on year. This print topped analystsโ€™ expectations by 0.7%. More broadly, it was a satisfactory quarter as it also produced a beat of analystsโ€™ EPS estimates but EPS guidance for next quarter missing analystsโ€™ expectations.

The stock is down 9.2% since reporting and currently trades at $87.86.

Operating under the Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta brands, Gap (NYSE: GAP) is an apparel and accessories retailer selling casual clothing to men, women, and children.

Gap reported revenues of $3.73 billion, flat year on year. This number met analystsโ€™ expectations. Aside from that, it was a satisfactory quarter as it also logged a solid beat of analystsโ€™ EBITDA estimates but a miss of analystsโ€™ gross margin estimates.

The stock is up 4.2% since reporting and currently trades at $22.59.
