Author Jenny Miller shares: “Following years of abuse, then being left alone after my mother left my dad and then my dad moved away, I decided to write poems to fill the emptiness and to write my feelings down even though I began writing a few poems when I was fifteen.”
Jenny knows already at a young age that she has a potential talent as she wrote several poems out of her heart to release her feeling of emptiness. Just like most young wishful girls, the author knew that she had a talent for writing poems and was even informed by a school teacher that she should try to get her poems published. Later she found that she got bored with it, then friends, school, work, and dances got in the way. She put her poems on hold for a long time and the time came when she had children already she got back into writing again. After quite a few years, she surrendered her life to Jesus even though she was saved when she was twelve. It was at this time that the poems came flowing; the Lord gave her these words.
