-- Eternal Holdings today announced the premiere of The Impossible Dream, a two-hour, cameo-driven, vignette-style rock opera that is fully created using AI tools under human direction. The film will debut on December 6 at Kabuki Boynton Beach. 5:30PM
The Impossible Dream follows fictional punk-rock icon Paco Gato through the fast rise to fandom, an abrupt fall, and a hard-fought comeback. Built like a living mixtape, the movie moves from vignette to vignette—a parade of characters who appear for a single song, tell a complete emotional story, and then exit, leaving Paco’s journey to push forward. The film features over 40 original songs, all written and produced by Lee Elman, founder and CEO of Eternal Holdings.
“This is a cameo-driven, vignette-style rock opera inspired by that first midnight screening of Tommy in 1980,” says Elman. “Back then, I saw how one song could hold an entire story and then vanish. Now, with AI as our instrument, we can build that kind of experience at full feature length—fast enough and affordably enough for a small studio to do it.”
Eternal Holdings uses proprietary AI pipelines to:
- Generate and refine visual worlds and sequences at high speed
- Support music stem development, harmonies, and arrangement exploration
- Streamline editing, localization, and versioning for future global release
The result is a film that feels like a hybrid of live concert and narrative movie—a proof-of-concept for how AI can change filmmaking by lowering barriers of time and cost while keeping human taste, story, and performance at the center.
Elman, whose TV credits include Party Heat (truTV) and E-Force (Outdoor Life Network), sees The Impossible Dream as the culmination of a career-long idea.
“Years ago I joked there are two kinds of painters: the one who paints the Sistine Chapel, and the one who paints a bathroom—I said, ‘I paint the best bathroom,’” Elman recalls. “With The Impossible Dream, I finally got to aim at the chapel. Leonardo painted the ceiling; this time, I painted the chapel bathroom with pride—using AI to reach a scale that used to be out of reach for a small team.” Every set, set wardrobe, every song was created to do what was impossible when this began.
Following the December 6 premiere, The Impossible Dream is planned for digital release, with the feature targeting Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu later this year, and the music available on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
