Brittany Lumsden is an artist and mother who works from her home studio nestled in the forests of Wolcott, Vermont. Surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty, Brittany finds inspiration in her environment and enjoys working across multiple artistic mediums. Reflecting on her work for Friends with Stars, she shares: "Creating the illustrations for this story took me back to childhood-running barefoot through damp grass, catching fireflies, and feeling the wonder of the night."
