Now accepting nominations online by February 14, 2025
STAMFORD, CT, January 13, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SilverSource, the leading resource for older adults in in the Stamford area, is accepting nominations for its 2025 SilverSource Awards to be presented at the agency's annual "Inspiring Lives" Luncheon in May. The awards are given to outstanding individuals and notable groups or organizations who have made exceptional contributions to improve the lives of older adults in lower Fairfield County.
"The needs of the older adult community are great, and the number of people and organizations going above and beyond to meet those needs is notable," said Kathleen Bordelon, SilverSource CEO. "We seek nominations for the SilverSource Awards so that we may honor the outstanding achievements of those who help to ensure seniors are safe and well cared for – those who truly stand out for improving the lives of our older residents."
The 2025 SilverSource Awards will recognize outstanding contributions in three areas:
• The SilverSource Outstanding Organization Award – recognizing one organization that provides a significant contribution to improving the community as a place to age.
• The SilverSource Outstanding Individual Award – recognizing an exceptional individual who makes a contribution to improving the well-being of older adults.
• The SilverSource Outstanding Volunteer Award – recognizing an outstanding volunteer who shares their time and talent to enrich the lives of older adults.
Nominations are open to the community to nominate individuals and groups/organizations. All nominations will be evaluated by a panel of leaders in the senior provider space, and must align with SilverSource's mission and vision. There is no fee to participate, and nominees must be from lower Fairfield County. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 14, 2025.
