McCracken, MD, has been recognized as a 2025 Castle Connolly Top Doctor; this is the second consecutive year that he has received the esteemed Top Doctor honor. Dr. McCracken is an extensively trained ophthalmologist (eye surgeon) with an additional two years of fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery at University of California San Diego. He has served since 2009 as the medical director of McCracken Eye and Face, his Denver-area practice.
Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. McCracken is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
He skillfully performs an array of the most advanced cosmetic oculoplastic surgeries. He has particular expertise in performing droopy eyelid surgery (upper lid blepharoplasty), eye bag surgery (lower lid blepharoplasty), double-eyelid surgery, facial fat grafting, endoscopic brow lifts, and FaceTite® and AccuTite® radiofrequency skin contouring.
Dr. McCracken also offers a variety of minimally invasive procedures and services, including facial rejuvenation, laser skin resurfacing, brow lifts, facial contouring, neck contouring, and FUE hair transplants.

Dr. McCracken earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed three years of residency training in ophthalmology at University of Illinois, Chicago Affiliated Hospitals.
He also completed two years of ASOPRS fellowship training in oculoplastic surgery and orbital reconstructive surgery at University of California San Diego.
