NTi celebrates 20 years of expanding services, technology, and reach
CINCINNATI, OH, February 02, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- National TAB Intelligence (NTi) was founded in 2006 after seeing a need in the restaurant industry for better consistency, accountability and services from their HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) providers. Since then, NTi has grown into a full-service company, performing start-ups, commissioning, indoor air quality, TAB, and other services for its customers. Additionally, NTi has expanded its physical locations with plans for continued growth this year and has developed its team of field engineers to take on more institutional projects, like schools, hospitals, and other larger facilities.
"We saw how customers didn't get consistency in the industry and have someone they could rely on 100% and be accountable for all their stores," shares Joe Hertenstein, President of NTi. "They want accountability and consistency through their brands, build-out, and performance. So that's what we wanted to do."
It's been NTi's passion since its founding to provide its customers with comfort and control, resulting in better performance for their buildings. This passion was taken to the next level as it evolved into a technology company (rebranding from National TAB to National TAB Intelligence in 2023). The team invested in a software platform to improve its reporting performance, partnered with like-minded companies throughout the country, and set up a robust training program for its field engineering team. These investments have allowed NTi to offer a full house of technology, knowledge, and services.
