Introduction and application of network cabinet

With the continuous breakthrough of the computer industry, the cabinet reflects more and more functions. At present, the cabinet has become an indispensable supply of the computer industry, you can see a variety of cabinets in the major computer rooms, cabinets are generally used in the control center, monitoring room, network wiring room, floor wiring room, data room, central computer room, monitoring center and so on.

Cabinets are generally made of cold-rolled steel plates or alloys to store computers and related control equipment, which can provide protection for storage devices, shield electromagnetic interference, and arrange equipment in an orderly manner to facilitate future maintenance of equipment.

According to the type, there are server cabinets, wall mounted cabinets, network cabinets, standard cabinets, intelligent protective outdoor cabinets and so on. Capacity values range from 2U to 42U.Network cabinet and server cabinet are 19 inch standard cabinets, which is the common ground of network cabinet and server cabinet! The differences between network cabinets and server cabinets are as follows:The server cabinet is used to install 19' standard equipment and non-19 'standard equipment such as servers, monitors, UPS, etc., in the depth, height, load-bearing and other aspects of the cabinet are required, the width is generally 600MM, the depth is generally more than 900MM, because of the internal equipment heat dissipation, the front and rear doors are with ventilation holes; The network cabinet is mainly to store the router, switch, distribution frame and other network equipment and accessories, the depth is generally less than 800MM, the width of 600 and 800MM are available, the front door is generally transparent tempered glass door, the heat dissipation and environmental requirements are not high.

In the market, there are many types of network cabinets, each with its own unique characteristics:- Wall mounted network cabinet- Features: Suitable for places with limited space, can be hung on the wall, mostly used in families and small offices.- Floor-to-ceiling network cabinet- Features: Large capacity, suitable for equipment rooms, enterprises, and other places, providing larger storage space.- Standard 19-inch network cabinet- Features: In line with international standards, it can accommodate 19-inch equipment, such as servers, switches, etc.The stability of the cabinet depends on the type of plate, coating material and processing technology. Generally speaking, the cabinets used in the early days were mostly made of castings or Angle steel, connected or welded in the cabinet frame with screws and rivets, and then made of thin steel plates (doors). This kind of cabinet was eliminated because of its large size and simple appearance. With the use of transistors and integrated circuits and the ultra-miniaturization of various components, cabinets have evolved from the entire panel structure of the past to plug-in structures with a certain size series. The assembly and arrangement of the box and plug-in can be divided into horizontal and vertical arrangements. The cabinet structure is also developing in the direction of miniaturization and building blocks.
