Nanjing Spare’s Peak Season Expansion – Industry Trends and Best Practices

Recently, Nanjing Spare Composite Materials Yizheng Co., Ltd., located in Chenji Industrial Park, Yizheng City, Yangzhou, has entered its production peak season. The newly built workshop was officially put into use, with 20 glass fiber pultrusion production lines launched simultaneously, and all production lines of the company fully opened. With the efficient collaboration between the Technology Department and the Production Department, the production capacity bottleneck has been fully broken, and the company is expected to achieve the target output value of 200 million yuan this year, demonstrating the strong development momentum of this high-tech enterprise.

Walking into Spare's Yizheng production base, the new workshop is bustling with the roar of machinery. According to the company's person in charge, the newly added standardized workshop covers an area of several thousand square meters and is equipped with 20 high-performance glass fiber pultrusion production lines, which can accurately produce a full range of profiles such as FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) round tubes, angle steels, railings, and hollow plates. After being put into production, the total number of the company's pultrusion production lines has increased significantly, and the annual production capacity will double on the basis of the original 10,000 tons, which can meet the surging demand for composite products in domestic and overseas markets. During the peak season, the Technology Department and the Production Department set up a joint task force and established a rapid mechanism of "problem response - technical support - on-site solution". To address the precision control problem in the production of large-sized FRP decks, the technical team optimized the resin ratio and traction parameters, while the production department adjusted the process connection simultaneously, increasing the product qualification rate to over 99.5%. This efficient collaboration model not only ensures the release of production capacity but also guarantees the stability of product quality.

As an established enterprise founded in 1995, Spare has been deeply engaged in the composite material field for nearly 30 years and has developed into a technology-based enterprise integrating technology, manufacturing, and trade. It owns independent intellectual property rights and a number of patents, and has been awarded the title of "Provincial High-Tech Enterprise" consecutively. The company's core competitiveness stems from its profound technical accumulation. It has introduced advanced pultrusion and molding technology from the United States, and its R&D team composed of more than 20 technical personnel can customize resin formulas and production processes according to needs. Its products can adapt to extreme environments ranging from -50℃ to 70℃, and the anti-aging test shows that their service life can reach 50 years. At the same time, the company has a comprehensive product matrix, covering eight categories of products including FRP plates, pipeline systems, and vehicle composite profiles, which are widely used in more than ten industries such as petrochemicals, new energy vehicles, marine engineering, and prefabricated buildings. Among them, the FRP three-core tube has become a preferred material in the power industry due to its high temperature resistance and strong insulation.

In terms of market layout, its products are exported to dozens of countries and regions including the United States, the European Union, and the Middle East, and it has more than ten stable major customers overseas, with two partners having annual orders exceeding 10 million yuan.

"This expansion is not only a practical measure to cope with the peak season but also a strategic step for the company to deploy in the new energy and high-end manufacturing fields," the person in charge said. With the upgrading of lightweight demand for new energy vehicles and the promotion of prefabricated buildings, the company's newly developed products such as battery pack spacer beams and GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) external wall systems have entered the mass supply stage. Relying on its technical advantages and production capacity support, the company is expected to break through the output value of 200 million yuan this year, achieving leapfrog growth compared with the previous scale. Currently, adhering to the concept of "surviving by quality, leading the future with technology", Spare continues to deepen technological innovation and production capacity upgrading, and moves forward steadily on the path of high-quality development in the composite material industry.
