DonutNV Franchising Inc. has grown to more than 140 franchise locations across 25 states since launching its franchise program in 2019. The mobile concept serves made to order mini donuts and fresh squeezed lemonade at events nationwide, supported by in house logistics and trailer manufacturing.

PHILADELPHIA - DonutNV Franchising Inc., a mobile mini donut and fresh squeezed lemonade concept, has grown to more than 140 franchise locations spanning 25 states since launching its franchise program in 2019, the company announced.

The expansion comes as the mobile food service industry continues gaining momentum. IBISWorld reported the food truck industry generated $1.3 billion in revenue in 2024, marking steady growth in a sector that's seen increasing consumer interest in experiential dining. DonutNV's model centers on made-to-order mini donuts and fresh squeezed lemonade served from mobile units at events, parties and gatherings - guests watch the donuts being made.

Co-founders Amanda and Alex Gingold started the business in 2014 as a mall kiosk before transitioning to mobile operations in 2015. The couple, both former corporate employees, initially ran four mobile units in the greater Philadelphia area before deciding to franchise based on customer demand.

"We're a made-to-order mini donut and fresh squeezed lemonade party on wheels - we bring the celebration to your door," Amanda Gingold said. "Our guests watch the donuts being made hot and fresh, which makes DonutNV a premium experience from start to finish."

The company pursued vertical integration to support its franchisees, including establishing its own logistics division to supply products directly and manufacturing DonutNV trailers in-house. That's a notable move in an industry where most operators rely on third-party suppliers. According to data from the International Franchise Association, franchise businesses contribute approximately $860 billion to the U.S. economy annually, with food service representing a significant chunk of that activity.

DonutNV has recieved recognition from Entrepreneur Magazine in 2025, appearing on several lists including "10 Hottest Trends for 2025," "The Fastest Growing Franchises of 2025," and "The Top Food Franchises of 2025." The company was also ranked on Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 list in both 2023 and 2024, though the specific rankings weren't disclosed.

The franchise system is developing a young entrepreneurs program and plans to partner with national organizations to encourage entrepreneurship among youth. In November, DonutNV will participate in an event with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee and Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame player Donald Driver, with a goal of raising $100,000 for the local Daniels Mardak Boys and Girls Club.

Senior Vice President Kristen Seitz joins Amanda Gingold on the executive team, while Alex Gingold serves on the board of directors. The founders continue operating two DonutNV food trucks in the Philadelphia area where they started.

The company indicated plans for continued U.S. expansion and potential international growth, though no specific timelines were provided. Research from Franchise Times shows mobile food concepts saw increased interest from prospective franchisees over the past year, with lower startup costs compared to traditional brick-and-mortar restaurants being a key driver.

QSR Magazine noted in recent analysis that experiential food concepts - where customers watch their food being prepared - have gained traction post-pandemic as consumers seek engaging dining experiences beyond just the meal itself. DonutNV's model fits squarely in that trend.

The mobile food industry has faced challenges including rising equipment costs and regulatory hurdles in various municipalities, according to the National Restaurant Association, though demand for catering and event-based food services remains strong.
