Tencent, ranked among the world’s top five internet companies, commissioned PRANCE in May 2022 to execute a turnkey interior package spanning 31 floors of open-office zones, conference suites, meeting spaces, and staff break rooms. PRANCE’s scope covered G-Plank ceilings, U Baffle and Profile Baffle ceilings, open-cell ceilings, perforated metal panels, decorative columns, and aluminium edge trims—all engineered, fabricated, and installed by PRANCE’s in-house teams.
Engineering Project Challenges and Solutions
Delivering nearly every visible metal component across the towers posed formidable logistical and technical demands—made more complex by COVID-19 restrictions that tightened supply chains and on-site protocols. PRANCE assembled an interdisciplinary task force comprising R&D, design, mold fabrication, and operations to maintain schedule integrity and design fidelity.
"Precision is the core requirement of the project," emphasized the PRANCE project leader. "Four senior designers transformed the customer's concept sketches into accurate 3D models and construction drawings. While at the same time, our manufacturing team efficiently coordinated the mold development and production processes to overcome the epidemic restrictions and ensure the smooth progress of on-site installation."
