Valued at a market cap of $21.9 billion, Brown & Brown, Inc. (BRO) is an insurance company that provides a broad range of insurance and reinsurance products as well as risk management services to business, public entity, individual, trade and professional association clients. The Daytona Beach, Florida-based company is expected to announce its fiscal Q1 earnings for 2026 after the market closes on Monday, Apr. 27.

Before this event, analysts expect this insurance company to report a profit of $1.38 per share, up 7% from $1.29 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company has topped Wall Street’s bottom-line estimates in three of the last four quarters, while missing on another occasion. Its earnings of $0.93 per share in the previous quarter outpaced the forecasted figure by 2.2%.

For the current fiscal year, ending in December, analysts expect BRO to report a profit of $4.56 per share, up 7% from $4.26 per share in fiscal 2025. Furthermore, its EPS is expected to grow 9.4% year-over-year to $4.99 in fiscal 2027.

On Mar. 10, shares of BRO fell 3.5%, pressured by rising geopolitical tensions and an uncertain macroeconomic backdrop. Escalating concerns around the Middle East conflict fueled market volatility and heightened worries about potential knock-on effects on inflation and global economic growth. As a result, many businesses adopted a more cautious stance, scaling back spending and prioritizing cash preservation.

Wall Street analysts are cautious about  BRO’s stock, with an overall "Hold" rating. Among 21 analysts covering the stock, two recommend "Strong Buy," one indicates a “Moderate Buy,” and 18 suggest "Hold." The mean price target for BRO is $84.12, indicating a 30.6% potential upside from the current levels.
