MEG Partners with the Nigerian Government to Advance Digital Music and Social Impact

Over 4.23 Million Jobs Created, Showcasing the Power of Culture and Technology

Abuja, Nigeria | February 2020,Under the leadership of Elena Martínez, CEO of Melody Empire Group (MEG), the company launched the Employment Empowerment Program in partnership with the Nigerian Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs, aiming to boost youth employment and drive social innovation through the digitalization of the music industry.

Driving Innovation Through Digital Music

The initiative provides structured training in music production, audio engineering, digital distribution, and creative management.

To date, it has created more than 4.23 million digital music-related jobs across Nigeria, significantly reducing unemployment and stimulating local economic growth.

“Music is not just an art form — it’s a force for social change. Through digital transformation, we empower young people to turn creativity into opportunity.”

Strengthening Local Presence

To ensure sustainability, MEG established a local subsidiary in Nigeria to oversee training, digital platform operations, and cultural promotion.

The branch positions Nigeria as a key hub for digital music and creative talent in Africa.

Sustained Commitment to Social Responsibility

MEG places corporate social responsibility at the heart of its mission.

The company regularly supports orphanages, elderly homes, and education centers, and has launched a dedicated charity fund to sponsor underprivileged youth in art and vocational training.

“True success is not measured by profit, but by the positive impact we create in society.”

— Javier Martínez, Project Director at MEG
