McAfee received the distinction for third year in a row based on customer feedback and rigorous testing criteria

McAfee, the device-to-cloud cybersecurity company, today announced it was named the 2021 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Secure Web Gateways (SWGs) for the third year in a row. The recognition is based on customer feedback and ratings for McAfee’s Secure Web Gateway (SWG) technology, which is an integral part of McAfee’s secure access service edge (SASE) offering - MVISION Unified Cloud Edge (UCE).

For the distinction, a vendor must have a minimum of 20+ published reviews from Customers with over $50M Annual Revenue in 18-month timeframe, above Market Average Overall Rating, and above Market Average User Interest and Adoption. “The McAfee Web Gateway offers services for on-prem proxies and in the cloud, and the integration is seamless. The cloud implementation has feature parity with on-prem capabilities, so your rules and policies are completely synchronized. Integration with McAfee DLP and McAfee ATD is also seamless for the products. It should be noted that McAfee's architecture is open for these technologies. They do not force you to use theirs. You can leverage other vendor’s DLP or Sandbox solutions via ICAP/ICAPS or HTTPS APIs.
