Nerdio Manager Supports Dynamic Technologies to Continue Driving Azure Desktop Virtualization Management Market Innovation

Nerdio, the definitive Microsoft Azure deployment, management, and optimization solution for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and enterprise IT professionals, today announced support for Microsoft’s Windows 365 and Teradici’s PC over IP (PCoIP^®) technology. With these advancements, Nerdio Manager is now the most sophisticated Azure desktop virtualization management solution available on the market.

Following Microsoft’s launch of Windows 365, Nerdio Manager for MSP and Nerdio Manager for Enterprise, formerly known as Nerdio Manager for Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), have been expanded to allow users to choose between Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365. With Nerdio’s publicly available Cost Estimator tool, users can determine which desktop virtualization model makes the most sense for their specific use case based on price and functionality.

Recently announced, Windows 365 is a service that introduces a new way to experience Windows 10 or Windows 11 in the cloud on any device. This creates an entirely new computing category called Cloud PC which provides a full, personalized Windows experience – including apps, content, and settings – on any device.

Teradici’s PCoIP^® display protocol compresses, encrypts and transmits only pixels to a broad range of software clients, mobile clients, thin clients and stateless PCoIP^® Zero Clients. This integration will provide Nerdio Manager for Enterprise users the option to enable PCoIP^® in their deployments to improve display protocol performance and further secure enterprise environments by ensuring no business information leaves the cloud.
