Certification and Credentialing Expert to Lead Department to Further Success

Virtual, Inc., a professional services firm that enables organizations to achieve their goals and make a mark on the world, announces the promotion of Jennifer Williams to senior vice president, operations. Williams is the leader of the Certification and Credentialing team, along with the newly created Virtual Service Center, and in her new role will continue to evolve and grow these teams within Virtual.

“Jennifer played a major role in taking our Certification and Credentialing business to where it is today,” said Terry Lowney, chief operations officer, Virtual, Inc. “She also helped build our new center of excellence, the Service Center, all while the pandemic was in full swing. Jennifer has been a true leader for our team, and I’m confident she will continue to lead Virtual and our clients to success.”

When she joined Virtual in 2018, Williams came with a wide breadth of knowledge in operations. She has demonstrated the depth of her knowledge by improving profitability for the Certification and Credentialing business and developing a brand-new center of excellence from the ground up, now generating a substantial amount of revenue for the company. Williams manages all facets of service delivery, financial performance, and drives system and tools development with other departments.

“I am thrilled to be going into my fourth year at Virtual in this new role that will allow me to focus on evolving the Service Center so Virtual can further help clients make their mark,” said Williams. “I’m looking forward to supporting the continued growth of a healthy and meaningful Certification and Credentialing business unit here at Virtual alongside a talented team.”

Williams earned her bachelor’s degree in merchandising apparel and textiles from the University of Kentucky in 1994. She then received her MBA (Master of Business Administration) in marketing in 2008 from Strayer University. Prior to Virtual, Williams was the COO of Professional Credential Service, Inc. for two years. Williams joined the Virtual team in 2018 as the vice president of operations before her promotion to senior vice president of operations.
