Gates brings nearly 20 years of executive search experience to JM Search, along with a former background in the healthcare and B2B SaaS technology sectors. His diverse experience provides him with a unique understanding of the nuances involved in identifying and recruiting top-tier executive talent.

Prior to his executive search career, James helped launch former Silicon Valley-based tech startup FotoIN, the leading SaaS mobile endpoint for business photo documentation and reporting. Serving as Chief Operating Officer, he helped take the company from beta to revenue in 18 months by driving target market adoption and establishing channel partnerships with some of the best-known cloud storage businesses. Prior to FotoIN, James spent several years at Piedmont Healthcare.
