Mary Schust to Spearhead Latest Offering from ANV

ANV Global Services, a leading specialty risks Managing General Underwriter (MGU) and an AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. company, today introduced a new Media and Entertainment Liability Coverage in the United States. The state-of-the-art comprehensive policy covers professional liability exposures including robust cyber coverage with first- and third-party enhancements through a single carrier.

ANV’s new policy is wholesale only, with available limits up to $5 million. Target risks include publishers, advertisers, influencers, broadcasters, satellite distribution, film producers, websites, live streaming, social news aggregators, bloggers, YouTube channels and virtual reality, as well as one-of-a-kind risks.

The broad range of coverage includes Duty to Defend, Personal Injury Torts, Copyright & Trademark, Contextual E&O cover, Declaratory Judgment Actions and Fair Use, as well as Subpoena Defense and Mitigation Expense.

The new product will be led by Mary Schust, a media liability thought leader and senior executive who recently joined ANV. Schust was most recently Head of Media & Entertainment Liability for CapSpecialty. Previously, in a career spanning more than three decades with AXIS Insurance, Schust rose to the level of Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer and became well-known and highly respected in industry circles for underwriting, managing, and marketing E&O insurance products. Schust will be joined by Andrea Taylor, Vice President, ANV Media, an industry veteran experienced in underwriting Media E&O, Cyber and other Professional Liability lines at Chubb for 15 years. Taylor was most recently with QBE North America where she oversaw the national account size media book as well as a team of Media, Cyber and Professional Liability underwriters.
