Kide Science Wins Supes’ Choice Award for Best STEM/STEAM Instructional Solution

Kide Science from Accelerate Learning was named the winner in the STEM/STEAM Instructional Solution category of the 2023 Supes’ Choice Awards, the only education industry awards judged exclusively by school district superintendents.

In the annual awards program, which is organized by the Institute for Education Innovation (IEI), each winning product is evaluated based on a commitment to student outcomes, innovation and ingenuity, client support, interactivity, and engagement. The STEM/STEAM Instructional Solution category recognizes solutions that provide students with experiential learning and the opportunity to collaborate, persist in problem-solving, take thoughtful risks, and work through the creative process.

“In the past, STEM education was often ignored in the early years, but superintendents today recognize the tremendous impact it can have on students’ long-term success,” said Sari Hurme-Mehtälä, co-founder and managing director of Kide Science at Accelerate Learning. “Beginning STEM education early not only expands students’ interest in these areas, but it helps them develop lifelong skills that can benefit them in school and in life.
