Formula certifications, added sheens increase options for pro painters

PPG (NYSE: PPG) today announced the expansion of its SPEEDHIDE® professional paint line by PPG with the addition of SPEEDHIDE MAX™ paint. This zero VOC* product boasts MASTER PAINTERS INSTITUTE™ (MPI™) certification for high-performance durability for professional painters and their customers.

PPG is also expanding its existing Speedhide zero VOC offering to include three new sheen options: Ultra Flat, Low-Sheen Eggshell and Lo Lustre. This expansion brings the number of sheen offerings to seven – the most extensive range of sheens in the U.S. for a product of its kind. Its label will also have a new look this spring.
