John B. Thomas, Courtney Ervin and Robin Harrison honored for business litigation

Three Hicks Thomas LLP partners have earned recognition in the 2025 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America guide, a listing of the most accomplished and esteemed lawyers in the country.

John B. Thomas, Courtney E. Ervin and Robin L. Harrison were once again honored for their work in business litigation.

Mr. Thomas is marking his sixth year on the Leading Lawyers listing. His work includes representing clients in a wide array of industries, including energy, health care, banking and finance, manufacturing, sales and transportation. In addition to Lawdragon, Mr. Thomas has earned honors from Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers and Benchmark Litigation. Ms. Ervin regularly serves as lead counsel in high-stakes commercial litigation for clients representing numerous industries, including oil and gas, energy and insurance coverage. In 2024, she was named a Houston Business Journal Women Who Mean Business honoree.

Mr. Harrison’s work includes handling cases involving breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud and misrepresentation, professional liability and business disputes. Board certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, his work has been recognized by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Texas Super Lawyers and Benchmark Litigation.
