TailorCare Impact Report Highlights Breakthrough Results in Musculoskeletal Care Outcomes

2024–2025 report shows 90% of TailorCare program patients improve in pain or function while their medical costs drop 40%

TailorCare, a leading provider of value-based specialty care solutions for musculoskeletal (MSK) health released its 2024–2025 Impact Report today, showing significant improvements in patient outcomes, cost savings, and scalable delivery of evidence-based care.

MSK conditions, such as arthritis, osteoporosis, and joint disorders, affect nearly 1 in 2 Americans and cost the U.S. more than $420 billion a year. TailorCare’s personalized, risk-bearing model helps patients navigate complex MSK conditions earlier and more effectively, avoiding unnecessary treatment, reducing costs, and improving quality of life.

Report highlights include:

Stronger Patient Engagement: Proprietary predictive model identified up to 87% of high-priority patients at risk of avoidable surgery six months in advance. In 2024, TailorCare completed ~12,000 clinical intakes and engaged nearly 1,000 patients each month.
Better Outcomes: 87% of members adhered to conservative care recommendations; 90% reported improvements in pain or function; and members rated TailorCare with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +90.
Lower Costs: Medicare Advantage (MA) members adhering to physical therapy saw a 40% reduction in medical costs. For MA members who had surgery, their out-of-pocket expenses were 14% lower.
Scalable Model: TailorCare now serves more than two million Medicare Advantage and commercial members across 50 states and is expanding its MA footprint in 2026 to cover hundreds of thousands of lives under full-risk contracts.
