CSI Completes Acquisition of Digital Banking Provider Apiture

By: via Business Wire

The acquisition marks the latest milestone in CSI’s journey to create a comprehensive financial technology offering that powers every stage of the account holder lifecycle

CSI, a leading provider of end-to-end financial software and technology, has completed its acquisition of Apiture, an award-winning provider of digital banking solutions to U.S. financial institutions. The Apiture Digital Banking Platform transforms how banks and credit unions compete—delivering tools that help institutions win and retain account holders.

“Acquiring Apiture supercharges our mission to deliver solutions that empower financial institutions to compete and grow,” said Nancy Langer, CEO of CSI. “Not only are we gaining industry-leading technology for consumer and business digital banking, we are also expanding our team with more experts dedicated to building and deploying superior solutions for banks and credit unions. CSI is committed to giving every institution access to best-in-class capabilities that keep them at the center of their account holders’ financial lives.”

Combining CSI’s integrated core banking, customer engagement and lending platform with Apiture’s suite of products enhances a financial institution’s ability to deepen relationships, grow deposits and expand revenue opportunities across the entire account holder lifecycle. The combined company will help financial institutions:

  • Drive awareness through targeted acquisition and cross-sell
  • Offer comprehensive solutions across deposit growth, loan origination and digital banking
  • Deliver seamless onboarding and early engagement to build loyalty
  • Foster retention and advocacy through ongoing support and data-driven offers

“Acquisitions like this one signal how core providers are rethinking the role of digital banking,” said Ian Benton, Senior Analyst of Digital Banking at Javelin Strategy & Research. “Financial institutions want stability and reliability, but they’re also looking for partners who can deliver cutting-edge digital experience and the API-driven flexibility to personalize those experiences.”

With integrations to more than 200 fintech partners, Apiture’s API-first platform enables financial institutions to innovate rapidly and complements CSI’s vision of a digital banking future built on choice.

“This is a monumental day for all of us at Apiture,” said Chris Babcock, CEO of Apiture. “Our team has been singularly focused on creating the next generation of digital banking solutions that empower financial institutions to deliver personalized experiences, strengthen customer relationships and drive sustainable growth. Joining forces with CSI allows us to scale and help even more institutions transform their digital capabilities."
