Anything Acquires “anything.com” for $2M to Let Anyone Make Money on the Internet

Anything, the AI platform that lets anyone ship production-ready mobile & web apps, today announced its acquisition of the “anything.com” domain for $2 million. The acquisition supports Anything’s vision: software is no longer the domain of developers alone - it belongs to anyone with a problem to solve.

The announcement comes alongside a new feature that lets users purchase and connect domains directly within Anything as they create apps. Claiming a domain now happens alongside building the product behind it.

Since launching in August, Anything has grown to more than 1 million users and surpassed a $2 million annual run rate within 2 weeks after launch. Its builders include fire chiefs, wealth advisors, real estate agents, teachers, marketers, salon owners and more - people who previously had ideas for new software products but no practical path to shipping them. Many now generate meaningful revenue within days of creating their first app.

"Software is changing hands," said Dhruv Amin, co-founder of Anything. "Real world experts are becoming the next wave of builders and founders. Our domain needed to match their ambition: when anyone can turn their knowledge into a product, it’s about more than making apps; it’s about being able to do anything."

A new class of builders

A Northern California fire chief with 25 years of experience built a real-time incident command system to replace the whiteboards still used by most fire departments. He wakes at 4am to build before his six children wake, and is now rolling out his mobile and web application to over 100 departments. He has never written a line of code.

A former JP Morgan Private Bank advisor quit his job to an AI powered equity comp simulator, in three weeks with Anything. He’s now piloting it with boutique wealth firms.

A finance professional in Japan generated $34,000 in revenue from an AI tool suite. A real estate agent sells an AI portal to other realtors for $100 per month. A marketer earned $20,000 from an MLM referral tool.

Anything’s builders are often not developers. They’re people creating software, often for the first time, to create leverage, income, and opportunity.

Integrated domain purchasing

With today's update, Anything users can purchase and connect domains without leaving the platform. The feature removes another barrier between building software and operating a business.

"Buying our domain was a small first step," said Marcus Lowe, co-founder. "What matters is giving everyone the ability to claim theirs. If you're building something real, you should own where it lives."

Engineered to let anyone make products

Anything is designed to build products that work at scale. Key elements include:

  • A frontier-level agent for building software without coding: It generates full mobile and web apps, backend, and database. Projects remain stable as complexity grows.
  • A design system that produces human-quality interfaces: Apps look and feel like they were created by a dedicated design team.
  • A fully integrated production stack: Payments, authentication, databases, hosting and App Store publishing are built in.
  • Anything Max, an autonomous agent for testing and debugging live applications: It runs apps in a real browser, identifies issues, and fixes them without supervision.

Taken together, these systems allow anyone to build software that earns money, serves real users, and scales.
