Cathay Bank Supports California Wildfire Recovery Efforts

In response to the devastating wildfires impacting Southern California, Cathay Bank, through the Cathay Bank Foundation, raised $600,000 in philanthropic donations in support of relief efforts.

“We are deeply committed to supporting our communities. This disaster is personal to us. Southern California has been our home for more than six decades. Los Angeles is our city, and where our team members and countless local businesses have built their lives,” said Chang M. The funds will be directed to the following relief organizations, which are actively providing emergency aid, shelter, and resources to the impacted communities.

  • Dream Center Foundation
  • Pasadena Community Foundation – Eaton Canyon Fire Relief & Recovery Fund
  • World Central Kitchen
  • LA Fire Department Foundation
  • Door of Hope
  • Habitat for Humanity Greater LA
  • Sherwood Forestry Service – Watch Duty
