Trial lawyer will be a partner in the firm’s Corpus Christi office

Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham PLLC (SBSB Eastham) announced today it is growing its team of litigators with the addition of veteran litigator Dabney Pettus as a partner in its Corpus Christi office.

Ms. Pettus has more than two decades of experience in admiralty and maritime law, including litigation, casualty investigations onboard vessels, U.S. Coast Guard regulatory matters, representation of the International Group of Protection and Indemnity Associations, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection issues. She also has significant experience in probate law, guardianship law, and estate planning.

A Corpus Christi native, Ms. Pettus earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University.

In addition to her client work, Ms. Pettus is an active member of the Maritime Law Association and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute. Her work has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers, and she was elected to the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation, one of the highest honors a member of the State Bar of Texas can receive. Ms. Pettus has also received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell – the highest rating in ethics and professionalism.
