University of Phoenix COO Raghu Krishnaiah Joins World Summit AI

Krishnaiah shares insights on shaping education and career alignment in the face of artificial intelligence impact on jobs and urgent workforce change

University of Phoenix Chief Operating Officer Raghu Krishnaiah joins the 2025 World Summit AI (WSAI) USA with fellow education leaders as panelists for the session titled, “Bridging academia and industry for an AI-driven future of work,” on Wednesday, June 18 at 12:25pm PT, at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, CA.

A recent PwC report about artificial intelligence impact on jobs found that skills for AI-exposed jobs are changing 66% faster than for other jobs, but that industries best positioned to adopt AI also have three times higher growth in revenue per employee. Workforce learning and development leaders are leaning into this paradigm shift, leveraging AI to increase efficiency of learning operations, drive innovations in learning, and reinvent the learning experience, as shown in a 2025 study of HR leaders by University of Phoenix.

“Artificial intelligence has redefined the skills and the pace that today’s workforce needs to succeed,” said Krishnaiah. “This transformation has created an imperative for rapid evolution and immediate action in how we prepare learners and employees for long-term career success by cultivating adaptability as well as technical skills. Collaboration between higher education and industry will help ensure a capable workforce pipeline and continued skills acquisition contributing to immediate and long-term business goals.”

This panel session explores how educational institutions can adapt their curricula and teaching methods to prepare students for an AI-driven world as well as provide actionable insights from industry and academia on how to shape the future of work, build personalized learning plans, and responsibly harness AI’s potential.

Part of a Global Summit Series, WSAI USA is intended to bring together industry leaders, founders, data scientists, coders, engineers, policymakers and academics to connect the AI ecosystem, discuss and plan how to use tech to shape an uplifting future of AI.

The Summit will delve into cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence, focusing on autonomous AI agents, physical AI systems with live robotic demos and brain-computer interfaces and innovations in AI infrastructure such as neuromorphic chips and quantum processing. Further, the event will explore AI's shift from automation to collaborative networks, sharing best practices, and featuring diverse perspectives from global AI hubs, providing insights beyond traditional tech capitals - and highlighting AI's transformative potential across various sectors and technologies.
